Wednesday, May 7th, 2008: I Got Tagged!
I was tagged by the lovely Sarah, who now that I think about it, I totally forgot to add to my blogroll. (Speaking of which, there have been a few I've been meaning to add.
)
Link to your tagger and post these rules.
Share 7 facts about yourself: some random, some weird.
Tag 7 people at the end of your post and list their names and link to them.
Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving a comment at their blog.
1. I am a terrible insomniac. I can stay up for days at a time because I cannot fall asleep.
2. I started web designing in 1998.
3. I have finished four years of high school in only three.
4. I'm predictable when I'm cranky.
5. I don't trust people easily.
6. I date older men. Like, older. (My recent ex is now 25 and I just dated someone who was 27.)
7. I volunteer frequently and once ran a benefit for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where my father works.
And I tag: Taversia, Charlie, Megan, Miri, Nicole, Hev, and Jem (why not?!).
Oh yes, and new layout coming soon, as soon as I get a bit more time...

Monday, May 5th, 2008: Change of Schedule
Well, I have a deficiency in Algebra (no surprise there, that's for sure!), so I can't take a Mathematics course without speaking to my advisor and figuring out what I need to do. But I can take it next semester. I'm all registered now, and here is my new schedule:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
American Government 1100 @ 8:00am - 8:55am
World Civilization I 1110 @ 9:10am - 10:05am
Breakfast/Whatever
Survey Mass Communication 1700 @ 11:30am - 12:25pm
Tuesday/Thursday
English Composition 1010 @ 11:20am - 12:45pm
Six hour break!
Elementary Italian I 1010 @ 7:10pm - 8:35pm
I am so excited.
I just cannot believe I am almost there! Registering just ensures that this is really happening, and I am really not dreaming.

Monday, May 5th, 2008: Down to the Wire and MIM Out-of-Context Quote #1
I'm graduating in two weeks and I am absolutely excited! I'm registering today for classes, but I've already got my schedule planned out:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
American Government 1100 (Political Science) @ 8:00am
World Civilization I 1100 @ 9:10 am
Breakfast
Survey Mass Communication 1700 @ 11:30 am
Tuesday/Thursday
Foundations of Math 1420 @ 9:40 am
English Composition 1010 @ 1:00 pm
Elementary Italian I 1010 @ 7:10 pm
Woohoo! :) Everything is planned so it would be easier to walk across campus, but most of the classes are right next to my dorm.
I've also been volunteering for Memphis in May, so I've been completely busy this weekend. But I had a ton of fun with Charlie, even though I hurt the bottom of my foot Saturday night (long story) and couldn't volunteer today, just kinda sat around with Mom and the head of the committee, trying to help out wherever I could around the compound.
Oh, and I do have an out-of-context quote from one of the volunteers:
"Look at his crotch!"

Monday, April 28th, 2008: The Outage
Well, Miri's domain went down for a while, leaving both me and Charlie down for the duration. Everything's okay now though, just needed to tweak a few things to get them to work again.
I added a few people to my blogroll: Megan, Melissa, and Aisling. They're some cool chicks, if you ask me! After getting to know them better in the Q*Bee IRC, I couldn't help but add them. Their blogs seem very interesting!
My portfolio is coming along alright, I just installed Lightbox and things are coming along smoothly.
Oh, and I'm meeting with my advisor on Thursday to register for classes! Yay!
